Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise, and perform preventative maintenance on bioenergy systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Commission and test bioenergy plants, leading Factory Acceptance Testing (I/O checks, mechanical and performance tests) and Site Acceptance Testing.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults in control systems, hardware, and software.
  • Supervise contractors during the construction and commissioning phases of plants.
  • Participate in a 24/7 emergency support team and assist in critical interventions across sites.
  • Work on continual adjustment, optimisation, and performance improvements of systems.

What We’re Looking For
  • Background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Anaerobic Digestion, Biogas, or similar process plant environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Professionalism and a flexible approach to working hours, including overtime, travel, and overnight stays.
  • Full UK Category B (car) Driving Licence – essential.
