Do you have Project Engineer experience, and are you seeking a new remote role? Sustain Recruitment is helping a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology find a full-time Project Engineer, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive salary of up to £60,000 p/a and a benefits package.


In your first few weeks in this Project Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Generate technical drawings such as SLDs and string layouts

  • Generate analysis reports in PV*Sol, PV-syst, and Designer

  • Prepare detailed project cost comparisons

  • Follow up with important customers such as EPCs during the realization phase of large projects

  • Work with the Field Service team to provide on-site training and commissioning support to EPCs


To apply for this Project Engineer role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and at least two years of experience working within a project organisation or supporting projects within an organisation (project design, project management, and sales). You will also require the following:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • High level of communication skills – on different levels within the company as with customers and partners

  • Project organization knowledge including administration of projects

  • Experience taking ownership of projects
