As a Project Manager, you will work with the project director to prepare detailed project budgets and programmes and closely monitor those throughout the delivery stages of the projects.

In your first few weeks in this project management role, you can expect to:

  • Assist with the completion of contracts, particularly technical appendices to contracts

  • Oversee detailed design/engineering programmes and deliverables working with consultants and subcontractors, ensure scope is completed as planned

  • Review and approve design packages for construction

  • Implement detailed project plans, keeping track of risks, goals, tasks, resources, schedules, costs, and contingencies.


To apply for this project management role, you will need a BEng/Meng/MSc in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or another engineering subject. You will also require the following:

  • A proven track record (minimum 5 years’ experience) in the project management of utility-scale energy related projects such as battery storage projects and solar parks

  • DNO/ICP work experience would be advantageous.
