This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the technical aspect of business development within a global business that converts waste to energy.
This role involves providing full technical support for business development for solid waste treatment, anaerobic digestion, biogas utilisation, and wastewater treatment projects, from the origination phase through to contract negotiation and hand over.
The role includes:
Developing Front End Engineering Documents (FEED) including Block Flow Diagrams (BFD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (PID) and general arrangement drawings during bid development, as necessary.
Supporting and coordinating preliminary design activities during development of projects including site/civil, electrical, mechanical, structural as well as permitting and grant application activities, as necessary.
Reviewing and appraising customer specifications and providing summary notes.
Supporting Project Manager and Project Engineer regarding technical, contractual, and pricing questions related to bid development after project hand over.
The designing of systems, including biological processes using existing tools and process blocks.
Preparing proposals and price calculations.
Requesting quotations from defined and selected subcontractors and pre-negotiate the received quotes.
Coordinating with owners, contractors, and engineers.
Supporting Sales department in contract negotiations and contract closure.
Recording of all project relevant documents and costing data on the CRM.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in design engineering within a process environment and have knowledge of architectural, mechanical and electrical plans with a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical control systems.
