We’re working with an established anaerobic digestion operator to find a multi-skilled Electrical Technician to join their service and maintenance team. If you’re hands-on, fault-finding savvy, and want to grow with a business that’s expanding rapidly in the UK, this could be a great next step.
The Role
You’ll carry out service, maintenance, and minor installation work on AD plants across the UK, helping ensure reliable operation of complex biogas systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in 3-phase electrical systems
- Testing, inspecting, and verifying electrical installations
- Working from electrical schematics to troubleshoot equipment
- Maintaining and replacing motors, sensors, actuators, and switchgear
- Supporting planned and reactive maintenance
- Assisting with control systems and PLC fault finding (training provided)
- Liaising with clients and reporting issues clearly and professionally
What You’ll Need
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of 3-phase power systems
- Experience with electrical fault-finding and testing
- Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with motors, controls, and ideally PLCs
- Flexible attitude to travel and staying away
