We’re partnering with a growing provider of gas upgrading and biomethane technology, looking for a Field Service Engineer to support installations, maintenance and commissioning of gas-to-grid equipment across the UK.

The Role
- Service, maintain and troubleshoot biomethane upgrading and gas compression systems
- Perform mechanical and light electrical work on compressors, valves, blowers and membrane skids
- Support commissioning of new gas upgrading systems
- Carry out fault diagnosis, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs on customer sites
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site permits
- Coordinate with in-house engineers and central technical teams
What You’ll Need
- Strong mechanical background in gas compression, CHP, biogas or similar process sectors
- Experience working on rotary screw or piston compressors is ideal
- Exposure to gas purification or upgrading (membrane, water wash, PSA, etc.)
- Comfortable with site-based work and UK-wide travel
- A relevant NVQ / HNC or time-served apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Full UK driving licence
