What You’ll Do

  • Carry out mechanical servicing, fault-finding and repairs on anaerobic digestion plants across the UK

  • Maintain and optimise pumps, pipework, heat exchangers, mixers and other rotating plant

  • Support both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring uptime and safe operation

  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems including some involvement in software-controlled equipment (training provided)

  • Liaise with the in-house engineering team and supervise contractors during upgrades or installations

 
What You’ll Need

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

  • Solid experience working with industrial plant or rotating equipment (e.g. pumps, mixers, gearboxes)

  • Comfortable with site-based travel and staying away from home when required

  • Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Bonus points for experience in anaerobic digestion, wastewater or process environments
