What You’ll Do
Carry out mechanical servicing, fault-finding and repairs on anaerobic digestion plants across the UK
Maintain and optimise pumps, pipework, heat exchangers, mixers and other rotating plant
Support both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring uptime and safe operation
Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems including some involvement in software-controlled equipment (training provided)
Liaise with the in-house engineering team and supervise contractors during upgrades or installations
What You’ll Need
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Solid experience working with industrial plant or rotating equipment (e.g. pumps, mixers, gearboxes)
Comfortable with site-based travel and staying away from home when required
Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Bonus points for experience in anaerobic digestion, wastewater or process environments
