As a Financial Accountant, you will support the finance functions across a few entities. However, as the sites reach construction, your responsibilities will shift to the reporting and general management of the financial functions for the sites. You will take responsibility for the finance function of the construction project.
In your first few weeks in this Financial Accountant role, you can expect to:
- Assist the project manager in managing budgets
- Prepare payment runs
- Process invoices and purchase orders
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the group financial controller.
To apply for this Financial Accountant role, you will need a degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting and must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. You will also require the following:
- Industry experience (preferred)
- Experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
- Familiarity with Xero
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
