Using your 2D and 3D CAD skills you will be producing high quality drawings of clean energy plants with conveyors, pumps, CHPs and other process equipment. 

The role includes:

 Planning the design activities for all assigned jobs and monitor progress.

 Present required documents in accordance with construction standards.

 Preparation of all the drawings for the sales and engineering team including BFDs, P&IDs, PFD, general layouts, mechanical layouts, detailed specialist drawings including services, ATEX, mechanical, electrical and civil installation detailed drawings, etc. 

 Preparation of drawings for sales lead and project including basic layouts right through to fully detail construction drawings with all process flows.

 Creation of plans for the electrical installation (cable trays, grounding plans, etc)

 Identifying potential savings.

 Supporting the project engineer regarding product specifications, technical specifications and tender documents.

 Regular update of the CAD database.

 Check if design aligns with the instructions (installation and maintenance space) of the vendor.

 Check of the licensing/environmental documents and incorporate all permit conditions on design drawings.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in plant design, understand P&IDs and be competent in CAD software such as Solid Works or AutoCAD.
