What You’ll Do
- Carry out mechanical servicing, fault-finding and repairs on anaerobic digestion plants across the UK
- Maintain and optimise pumps, pipework, heat exchangers, mixers and other rotating plant
- Support both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring uptime and safe operation
- Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems including some involvement in software-controlled equipment (training provided)
- Liaise with the in-house engineering team and supervise contractors during upgrades or installations
What You’ll Need
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Solid experience working with industrial plant or rotating equipment (e.g. pumps, mixers, gearboxes)
- Comfortable with site-based travel and staying away from home when required
- Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Bonus points for experience in anaerobic digestion, wastewater or process environments
